Christmas 2009

We are sad to say that Christmas is over this year. We had such a wonderful time visiting with family and friends. We are very tired, but happy that we were able to spend time with the ones we love. We feel very blessed to have such an amazing family and look forward to many more memorable holidays over the years. We cannot thank everyone enough for all that they did for Aiden and ourselves. We were all very spoiled but are VERY grateful!
Aiden enjoyed Christmas a lot more this year. We can only imagine how fun the next few years will be once he really understands the whole concept. Being together as a family on Christmas morning was all that we had expected. I have been looking forward to it since I began shopping months ago. It is hard to believe how quickly our lives have changed over the last few years and we could not imagine it any better than this!
We hope everyone had a wonderful holiday and we wish you all a very happy and healthy 2010!

More of Baltimore!
The Holiday Season
I have to apologize for not posting since Halloween! Things have been hectic! We had a nice Thanksgiving and the weekend after Ryan and I went out to Baltimore for a little break with friends. It was a quick trip, but we had an amazing time! Since we returned home we have been nothing but busy! We are sure this schedule will continue until the holidays are over. We have enjoyed having the house decorated for the season, considering we have had to wait so long for our first snow here in Chicago.

Happy Halloween!
This year for Halloween we invited family over to go trick-or-treating with us. Aiden was dressed up like a monkey and looked adorable. Aiden cruised around the neighborhood in his little blue car collecting candy from house to house. We had a wonderful day hanging out, eating sweets and relaxing at home!

Aiden's 1st Birthday Party!
This weekend was Aiden's 1st birthday party and it was a success! We had a huge tent set up in the driveway, a beautiful Sesame Street cake, an Elmo birthday sign, Elmo cookies, and most importantly our closest friends and family to join us! We cannot thank everyone enough who helped us get ready for this day. We feel so blessed to have wonderful people in our lives to share these memories with. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to everyone that was present, especially those who came from far to be there! We had a wonderful time sharing this occasion with all of you! We look forward to what the future holds for Aiden and feel lucky that he has such a large group of people that love him so much!
