The Fair Oaks Dairy

On our journey back to Illinois we stopped at the Fair Oaks Dairy. We saw the cows, ate ice cream and jumped on "Cow Jump". It was a fun place to visit. We even bought some "squeaky cheese" to snack on in the car!

Shopping at the Salty Dog Board Walk

We went shopping at the Salty Dog Board Walk to pick up some t-shirts. Aiden and Daddy now have matching camo "Salty Dog" t-shirts! While we were strolling around Aiden took a picture with Jake (the Salty Dog) and enjoyed tasting the bubbles that Uncle Jon was blowing at him.

More of the Beach at Sunrise

The Beach At Sunrise

One of my favorite mornings in Hilton Head was seeing the sunrise. My mom, myself, Amanda, Erin and Aiden went to the beach to experience the beauty. The waves were high, the animals were out and the view was amazing. Aiden was tired, but he enjoyed romping around in the sand and surf. I love the photos we have of him playing on this morning!

Fishing, Swimming and Hanging Out!

During our vacation we spent time swimming in the pool, going to the beach, fishing, and relaxing. One day we drove down to Savannah, Georgia to charter a boat to deep sea fish. It was a great time despite a few people getting sea sick. We caught a lot of fish and soaked up the sun! Almost anytime we were home you could find us playing the in pool. We played many games of volleyball - thanks to Jon and Erin for finding us the "right" size net! It was a blast!

First Trip to Hilton Head Beach

We took our first trip to the beach together as a family. Aiden loved the sand, water and waves. As soon as we dipped his feet into the water he immediately got excited! He loved crawling around on the sand and feeling it between his fingers. He even took a little taste!

Driving Down To Hilton Head

It took Aiden, myself and Grandma three days to get to Hilton Head, South Carolina. Although the trip is only 15 hours we decided to take our time so that Aiden wouldn't hate being in the car and to do some site seeing. After staying the night in Louisville we stopped at the Buffalo Trace distillery. Buffalo Trace was a very interesting place to visit. Buffalo Trace is over 200 years old and one of three whiskey producers that remained open during prohibition.
