Our Valentine Baby

Aiden had his Valentine's Day bib on for daddy when he came home from work. That afternoon we spent time walking around the Auto Show. It was a great day - we were all tired by the time we got home.

Aiden Loves New Types of Food

Aiden has had a good time tasting new foods over that last couple weeks. We have experimented with sweet potatoes, carrots, applesauce, apricots and rice cereal. He actually does a good job with the spoon - although I cannot seem to get it in his mouth quickly enough. Typical boy - he loves to eat!

Scrub-A-Dub-Dub Aiden Loves the Tub!

Aiden loves to take a bath! His new favorite thing to do while in the tub is to stretch his legs out so he can push on the wall and move himself around. We think he will enjoy his bath even more once he can sit up for himself!

I Love to Talk!

This past weekend Aiden realized just how much noise he is capable of making! He was such a chatterbox that we had to turn off the movie we were watching because he was talking so much! Our house is no longer quiet! It is really cute and we have enjoyed listening to all of his different sounds!

Today Aiden and I were working on rolling over. He successfully rolled tummy to backside two times. I am sure I will be regretting this in the near future! He worked so hard that he passed out after his last roll!

Our Baby is Getting Soooo Big!

Aiden is getting so big already! It is almost impossible for us to believe he is just about 16 weeks old. Through out the last month or so we have noticed remarkable changes in him. He now sleeps through the night and has a pretty set sleeping pattern - bedtime, morning time and we are finally starting to establish the nap time. He can stand with help (not very much help, which is making mommy very nervous for what she will be in for soon). He is sitting up with assistance which will also be ending very soon. He loves to dance and I have become very entertained by the creative movements on his and Ryan's part! He is reaching for toys and is begining to really entertain himself with them. All in all he is a very strong little boy and Ryan and myself have enjoyed all the changes we have witnessed already. We will be starting the exciting task of baby food shortly - this will be a very fun adventure for us!

Aiden's Baptism

Aiden was christened on January 3, 2009. Father Malloy, the priest that married us, was able to do a private baptism for our family. It was at St. Barnabas parish in Beverly and it was beautiful. Aiden was blessed to have Jon and Erin as his godparents. Not only have they been wonderful friends to Ryan and myself, they now share a special role in our growing family! We are so grateful there was family present on this special day to celebrate Aiden.
