Brookfield Zoo
We decided to go to Brookfield Zoo today, hoping to get a little fresh air and time out of the house. We have all had cabin fever with the storm and gloomy weather over the past few weeks. Lucky for us we were just about the only people in the whole zoo. It was an experience we will never forget! Very little wind and a bright sunny sky made for many hours of fun! The dolphin show was empty (only one other boy & his grandfather) in the whole place! Aiden was able to get up close and personal with the dolphins and loved it! We had such a great day! Thanks again to Mimi & Papa for the zoo pass this year - another great memory!

The Blizzard of 2011
We survived the blizzard of 2011 without any major problems! We never lost power or cable and Avery stayed put, so we had really nothing to complain about. We also had the chance to spend an additional day as a family since Ryan's office was closed. After the snow finally stopped we made our way outside to play in the snow. We had to take some pictures for Aiden to document this historic event. Ryan managed to shovel the driveway with the help of our little man! We hope everyone weathered the storm successfully!
Potty Training
We have been working on potty training with Aiden. All in all, this has been an interesting adventure for all of us. Although we have had a couple rough days, we have also had a great response from him. He loves wearing his "big boy" underpants and has been consistently accident free most days.
