Avery is already 1 month old!

Avery is one month old today! We are amazed at how quickly time goes by. Already she has changed so much since her birthdate. She is holding up her head like a champ and Aiden thinks it is funny when she practices her tummy time. We call her our "tiny turtle" because she bounces her head up and down while she is on her belly. Things have been hectic this last month with birthday parties and visiting family & friends. We are looking forward to April and the nicer weather. We are all tired of being stuck in the house, we want to go back to our bike rides and outdoor outings to the park and everywhere in between. Aiden starts soccer next week, so hopefully he will love running around with all the kids! I promise to post pictures of him in his uniform!

Avery Has Arrived

Ryan had a very special birthday this year - starting the last year of his 20's and the birth of our daughter! This time around, we had a scheduled induction. On February 28th we made our way down to Prentice and at 4:39 PM Avery was born. She was 7 lbs 10 oz and 20.5 inches long. Labor this time was a snap and everyone is doing very well!

Aiden has been adjusting to "big brother" life like a pro. We honestly could not have asked for him to be any more prepared. He is so helpful and just loves Avery. Constantly hugging her, kissing her and petting her hair. We have really enjoyed life at home so far. It is like she was the missing piece to our family, like she was always meant to be here with us!

Thank you to everyone that had visited us, sent us well wishes and gifts. We appreciate all of our family & friends very much. We feel very blessed - even more so than usual.
